Inquiry to Enrollment
Let us know that you are interested in learning more about SMLS by first completing the Inquiry Form above. After you have completed the form, you will receive a follow-up phone call from our admissions team to answer any questions that you may have and to schedule a visit to our school.
Applications for admission for next school year will open on February 1, 2023. By completing the Inquiry Form, you will be contacted by the Admissions Team to discuss your enrollment. Applications for next school year will be accepted from February 1 and ongoing after that date. If you are interested in applying for the current school year, you will receive application information during your Inquiry follow-up with our admissions team.
Admissions applications will be placed under review, as they are received, by the school's admissions team. Priority enrollment for our current SMLS families occurs in January, with Enrollment and Re-enrollment Agreements sent to current families. Enrollment and class placement for students of new families begins in February, with Enrollment Agreements sent to new students whose applications have been accepted. Applications for financial aid will begin in February, as well; SMLS awards financial aid each year to qualifying Kindergarten–8th grade families. Tuition payments begin in July.
Christ’s teachings from the Bible are intentionally woven into all learning and growth at St. Mark’s Lutheran School. The teachers and staff prepare learning activities that allow students to develop high levels of competencies in all content areas. Standardized test scores often exceed local and national norms. A highly qualified, certified staff and accreditations by both the National Lutheran Schools Association and the Missouri Department of Education, give students a firm foundation for future growth as they graduate and move toward high school and beyond.
