Are you interested in adoption or foster care, or do you know someone who might be?
David Eberle, Church and Community Relations Manager of Lutheran Family and Children’s Services, will be at St. Mark’s to educate us! This is an excellent opportunity to hear the process and ask questions.
For over 150 years, LFCS has provided services to help protect children, empower families and strengthen communities. The adoption and foster care programs are designed to keep kids safe while providing them with safe and loving homes . . . but what does that look like?
Join us on Saturday, April 15 to hear how these programs work together and independently to provide hope and stability. LFCS foster care team cared for 160 children in 2022 through case management, home visitations, and placement services. Learn how the adoption process works, what services LFCS provides in that process, and how we continue to care long after a forever family is born.
Allison Franzen will join us and share her personal story of adoption and what her journey was like to bring together her forever family as they were supported and guided by LFCF. There will be a time for questions you might have for Allison.
This event is planned and supported by the Life Team of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. We affirm all of life from conception to the end of natural life.
